Donate to stop Nestlé and support the community fight-back!
Right now the community of Centre Wellington – a rapidly growing township in the heart of Ontario’s farmland – is in a fierce battle with bottled water giant Nestlé over a local well.
The township tried to buy the well in order to secure their future clean drinking water supply. Nestlé trumped the town’s bid, claiming it needs the well “for future business growth.”
But there’s still a way for the community to get its water back, if you and I act now.
Make a contribution of $3.71 or more to help fund the community fight-back and we’ll send you 2 of our popular Boycott Nestlé stickers (1 for you + 1 to share)!
Why $3.71? That’s how much Nestlé pays in Ontario per million litres of water that it pumps out of the community, bottles and sells for obscene profit.
Your donation immediately boosts the urgent campaign underway right now ratchet up the pressure on the government of Ontario to buy the well from Nestlé and return it to the people. Specifically, you’ll help to:
There is still time to right this wrong – but you and I must act now.
Please give what you can. Every dollar supports the fight to get the community of Centre Wellington their water back from Nestlé. It also supports the broader call for new water laws across Canada that put community needs ahead of corporate profits.
